Hilary recently left her full-time corporate role to earn her MBA and found a start-up. She consults on strategy, innovation, risk, technology, and human capital, coaches using design thinking principles, acts as a board member and advisor and enjoys practicing and teaching yoga. Until COVID, Hilary was Director, Strategic Planning & Execution at Farmers insurance, where she defined annual and long-term strategy, metrics, and objectives, led enterprise-wide programs to (re)define products, services and ways of working and created presentations for boards, investors, and employees. Previously, she served as an Information Security Officer between Zurich globally and Farmers. Hilary has extensive experience as a management and business development consultant to both corporate and non-profit clients, including acting as COO to a grantee organization of Found Animals Foundation and building consultancy service lines and product offerings for the Microsoft-focused consultancy of Accenture, Avanade. Originally from Chicago, Hilary has a B.A. from Baylor, studied in Nigeria and loves to spend time with her husband, son, rescue pets, cook vegan meals, travel, hike, paint, read, scuba dive, listen to jazz, dance, and take long walks through the evergreen woods.
