Wanda Ramos is the Director of Human Resources (HR) for the Office of the Future transformation initiative at Pratt & Whitney (a Raytheon Technologies company) headquartered in East Hartford, Connecticut. She has 20 years of experience spanning finance and human resources in various industries including energy, academia, banking, food and beverage, and aerospace and defense. Wanda began her second career in HR while at Starbucks Corporate in Seattle. She joined Raytheon Technologies corporate division as a Diversity Specialist in 2010 and moved into HR strategic partner roles soon after. Prior to joining Pratt in 2017 as the Associate Director HR for Commercial Engines, Wanda was a Senior Manager of HR for LEGO in Enfield, Connecticut where she led global leadership development initiatives for the Americas region (US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil) and was the HR business partner for the Sales organization. Prior to her current role, Wanda was the Director of HR for Engineering Module Centers collaborating with leaders in support of 3,000 employees including the Global Engineering Center in Puerto Rico; and an Associate Director of HR for the Commercial Engines organization where she collaborated with leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support. Wanda received her BA in Economics from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and a certificate in HR Management from the University of Washington. She received her MS in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2015.
