Jodey was raised in South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho or more actually, she was raised on the campuses of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Montana State University, University of Idaho, and Washington State University. Her father was an academic. She earned her MS in Economics with an emphasis in Regional and Urban Economics from the University of Idaho. Jodey has lived the last 31 years in the Seattle area where she continued her life in higher education at City University of Seattle and University of Washington. Her passion for continuous learning and growth guided her to adult learning in online/hybrid formats. She has dabbled in everything from academic program administration, faculty development, curriculum design and development, teaching, and LMS/educational technology administration. She is currently the Program Director of the Hybrid MBA at University of Washington where she has been for just over 2 years. The program has grown fourfold since its launch 5 years ago and is ranked 10th and 9th by US News and Poets & Quants, respectively. She is committed to the development of leaders who better humanity. She has two adult children, a dog and a bunny, and enjoys shooting trap and sporting clays.
